<p>Our client is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager to join their growing organization.</p><p><br></p><p>The Payroll & Benefits Manager will report into senior leadership and be responsible for leading the payroll and benefits function across a multi-site Canadian organization. This position will oversee full-cycle payroll, employee benefits administration, payroll accounting, compliance, and a small payroll team while acting as the organization's subject matter expert for payroll and benefits. <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Oversee and manage the full-cycle payroll process for salaried, hourly, and unionized employees across multiple operations</p><p>• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in compliance with federal and provincial legislation, CRA requirements, and collective agreements</p><p>• Lead, coach, and support the payroll and benefits team while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service</p><p>• Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and annual renewals</p><p>• Act as the primary liaison with benefit providers, insurance brokers, and internal stakeholders</p><p>• Prepare month-end payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting payroll accounting schedules</p><p>• Complete year-end payroll activities, including T4s, ROEs, government remittances, and other statutory reporting requirements</p><p>• Prepare payroll reconciliations for government remittances, including CPP, EI, EHT, WSIB, and other regulatory requirements</p><p>• Maintain accurate payroll and employee records within the payroll system</p><p>• Monitor payroll and benefits costs while supporting budgeting and financial reporting activities</p><p>• Support internal and external payroll and benefits audits by preparing required documentation and reconciliations</p><p>• Respond to employee payroll and benefits inquiries in a professional and timely manner</p><p>• Develop and improve payroll processes, procedures, and internal controls to increase efficiency and accuracy</p><p>• Stay current on legislative changes affecting payroll, benefits, and employment standards across Canada</p><p><br></p><p>You will join a collaborative and growth-oriented organization where you'll have the opportunity to lead an important function, drive continuous improvement, and make a meaningful impact across the business.</p><p><br></p><p>Ready to take the next step in your payroll leadership career?
