THE ROLE:We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Reporting Manager for a 6-month contract with our client. The successful candidate will bring both technical expertise and a hands-on approach, thriving in an environment that requires accuracy, resourcefulness, and the ability to “roll up their sleeves” to get the work done. Responsibilities<ul><li> Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements by extracting data from reporting tools, building templates, and creating reports. Prepare quarterly and annual management and board presentation materials, including analysis and commentary. Draft memorandums, recommendations, and technical interpretations documenting accounting policies in accordance with ASPE</li><li> Audit & Compliance: Lead the annual audit process, including planning, coordination, and responding to audit-related requests</li><li> Accounting Operations: Review and approve journal entries, accounts payable, treasury transactions, and complex accounting entries. Coordinate long-range planning (LRP) and budget reporting, ensuring accurate materials for December board review. Support foreign exchange hedge exposure and dividend accounting</li></ul>ABOUT YOU:You are a detail-oriented CPA with a strong command of ASPE and a proven ability to manage complex financial reporting tasks.
