<p><strong>Robert Half</strong> <strong>Talent Solutions</strong> is currently looking for a <strong>Legal Counsel (m/f/x) </strong>for a permanent position based in <strong>Brussels</strong>.</p><p>Our client is a fast growing company active in the <strong>international trade sector</strong>.</p><p>As <strong>Legal Counsel (m/f/x) </strong>you will be <strong>responsible</strong> for:</p><ul><li>Commercial contracts/contract management:<ul><li>Managing the international commercial contracts of the company: drafting, alignment with shareholders, negotiation lead in front of suppliers, follow-up of the contracts performance, etc.,</li><li>Support our commercial teams in their negotiation activities and exchanges with suppliers: compliance with competition law in commercial negotiations, regular training sessions to sensibilize commercial teams to main legal topics, day-to-day support for the performance of the contracts</li><li>Internal reporting of contracts negotiation and anticipation of contractual risks: within the legal department, to the commercial teams, to the management team, to the legal teams of the shareholders</li><li>Preparation of the yearly contract templates</li></ul></li><li>Other contracts: according to company's needs, review of contracts with further third parties (external providers, clients, etc.);</li><li>Litigation follow-up;</li><li>Participate to the monitoring of the Belgian and European business and competition laws;</li><li>Corporate governance: with the support of external counsels, supporting corporate matters such as minutes of internal committees, follow-up of the yearly general assembly, delegations, etc;</li><li>Other legal support and tasks as punctually requested by the direct manager or the management team;</li><li>Transversal mission: co-management of specific projects / activities (team trainings, legal tools developments, etc.).</li></ul><p>The required <strong>profile</strong> for the <strong>Legal Counsel (m/f/x) </strong>position:</p><ul><li>Have a Belgian or French Master degree in Law;</li><li>With a specialization and/or experience either in international commercial contracts negotiation, or in contracts management;</li><li>Demonstrate at least 6 years of successful experience in a company or law firm</li><li>Have a professional command of English (working language).
