Whether it’s raising money for a chosen charity, teams cleaning up beaches, or a field office offering mock interviews and mentoring advice to help people into or return to work – Robert Half is a company that actively gives back to its community. These efforts, along with our internal Employee Network Groups, help to build a dynamic, inclusive environment where people feel comfortable being who they are at work.
Support for our community
For many years, employees at Robert Half have supported numerous charities across Australia and around the world, through both individual efforts and team activities. To demonstrate how integral community service is to Robert Half, we offer every employee opportunities throughout the year to volunteer for personal or our charity partner initiatives.
Robert Half is proud to support Make-A-Wish®
Since 2021, we’ve proudly partnered with Make-A-Wish International (MAW) to support their mission of granting life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. Together, we have collectively raised more than $1,210,000 USD for this incredible organisation through a variety of activities.
Robert Half Deed
To join Robert Half means to join our efforts of being an ethical corporate citizen. Our DEED platform allows Robert Half employees to volunteer, donate or fundraise for nominated charities. Employees can choose to either individually support a charity, or collaborate with their office team. Here are some of the recent activities that our staff have contributed towards:
Lifeline Bookfest Brisbane
Our team volunteered at the Lifeline Bookfest Brisbane to support one of Queensland’s most recognised fundraising events. By assisting with book organisation and customer enquiries, our team played a hands-on role in helping the event run efficiently, directly supporting Lifeline Queensland in delivering crisis support and suicide prevention services to communities across the state.
Round The World Challenge
In the last three months of every year, Robert Half teams around the world take part in the “Round The World Challenge”, a global initiative that brings together volunteering, fundraising, wellbeing activities, Wish Workshops to help bring wishes to life for children with critical illnesses, and World Mental Health Day to support Make-A-Wish International. Alongside these efforts, Robert Half teams also supported 148 local causes close to their communities through the Round The World Challenge, extending the impact beyond a single global cause.
Charity days
We believe in making time for what matters. Our teams utilise their paid volunteer leave to step away from their desks and make a tangible difference, from planting trees to sorting clothes at St Vincent de Paul, proving that our commitment extends far beyond the office.
Ronald McDonald House Charities
As proud supporters of Ronald McDonald House Charities, our Aspiring CFO event series, a professional development program for senior finance leaders, raised $12,000 to support families with seriously ill children by helping provide accommodation and essential services. Robert Half matched the contribution dollar for dollar, bringing the total donation to $24,000.
Charity Trivia Night
Our inaugural Charity Trivia Night was a resounding success, bringing together 180 attendees for an energetic and engaging evening. While the competition was strong, the night’s greatest achievement was raising close to $15,000 for the Pancare Foundation, supporting its vital work for people affected by upper gastrointestinal cancers.
Go Girl, Go for IT
To help close the gender gap in tech, we partnered with Go Girl, Go for IT. Our Robert Half team actively engaged with young women, showcasing the possibilities of a career in STEM and empowering the next generation of female leaders to shape the future of the industry.
