<table width="680"><tbody><tr><td width="507"><p>Newly created 6-month contract role for a Data Architect to lead a critical data warehouse implementation. </p><p> </p><p>This Sydney CBD based client is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead a full end-to-end data warehouse implementation and design project. This is a critical role within the organisation that will modernise their data platform, improve their data maturity, and create long-term data solutions.</p><p> </p><p>You will act as the SME for all things data including the design of the architecture, implementation of an enterprise grade data warehousing solution and reporting platform.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design and implement a data warehousing solution within Microsoft Fabric.</li><li>Develop and design architecture through Medallion Architecture.</li><li>Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to develop data reporting solution.</li><li>Drive and support end to end integration of data platform into broader technology ecosystem.</li><li>Work closely with senior IT leadership and wider business functions.</li><li>Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>5-8+ years' experience as a Data Architect.</li><li>Proven experience leading data architecture, engineering and migration projects (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Cloud, Medallion Architecture)</li><li>Experience working with agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder communication, negotiation, and expectation management.</li><li>Ability to balance technical requirements with user's needs and requirements.</li><li>Strong documentation, planning, and risk management skillset.</li><li>Experience in the Retail/FMCG/Luxury goods sector (desirable).</li></ul><p>The role will be starting as a 6-month day rate contract and will be 4 days in office.</p><p> </p><p> </p></td></tr></tbody></table><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
