The CompanyRobert Half is currently recruiting a Payroll Officer for a well-respected organisation that specialises within the aged care / home care sector. This team boasts amazing leadership as well as a true team-based culture.The Payroll Officer is responsible for providing an efficient payroll service to the organisation, including the timely processing of payroll in an accurate & timely manner. The RoleReporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll duties.Some typical duties will involve:<ul><li>Data entry of time-sheets</li><li>Ensure all staff receive appropriate entitlements in relation to awards, agreements, contracts</li><li>Manual pay adjustments & amendments</li><li>Understanding & interpretation of complex EBAs & awards</li><li>Manage employee records and administer appropriate changes</li><li>Calculation of terminations / redundancies</li><li>Participate in audits and reviews of payroll and leave records.</li><li>Payroll reporting</li><li>Resolution of payroll queries</li></ul>This position is moving quickly with the successful candidate hopefully able to commence immediately. Your ProfileTo be successful you will have proven experience in a high-volume payroll role, preferably within the aged care / home care sector. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:<ul><li>Excellent communication and written skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Excellent time management skills</li><li>Ability to handle a high-volume workload</li><li>A demonstrated experience in interpreting complex awards and enterprise agreements</li></ul>An ability to pick up new systems will also be required with previous exposure to PayGlobal an advantage.
