<p>Robert Half Technology are partnering with a Brisbane-based organisation undergoing a broader uplift of infrastructure capability across its core operational environment. With structured growth plans and continued investment in systems, they are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to support day-to-day stability, strengthen technical operations, and contribute to infrastructure improvements over time.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Administer Windows Server environments (2016-2022), including patching, upgrades and operational support</li><li>Support and maintain virtualisation platforms (VMware and/or Hyper-V)</li><li>Manage backup and DR platforms (Veeam, Commvault, HYCU or similar)</li><li>Troubleshoot and support Cisco/Meraki switching, routing and firewall configurations</li><li>Engage in infrastructure projects across server, storage, identity and network layers</li><li>Monitor systems, identify root-cause issues and implement long-term improvements</li><li>Liaise with senior technical stakeholders locally and externally</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated experience as a Systems Administrator in on-prem environments</li><li>Strong Windows Server capability</li><li>Experience supporting or configuring Cisco/Meraki, routing, switching and firewalls</li><li>Experience with VMware or Hyper-V</li><li>Knowledge of backup and DR platforms, storage fundamentals and replication concepts</li><li>Understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP and identity administration</li></ul><p><strong>Apply</strong></p><p>If you are an experienced Systems Administrator with solid infrastructure and networking capability, we'd love to hear from you!</p><p>Apply via SEEK with an updated resume or contact us for a confidential discussion.</p><p><br /> </p><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
