Product Controller Manager Job Description

Managers of product controller staff must have at least five years of experience working in the role. Candidates are required to hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business and a CPA designation. Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, organizational and leadership skills arepreferred, as is supervisory experience.

Typical product controller manager duties:

Advising partners on accounting and valuation matters impacting the financial statements, including daily profit and loss and balance sheet movementsDeveloping and implementing strategic systems and their implementation and managing continuous improvement of processesPreparing, reviewing and analyzing financial reports and informationReviewing any exceptional issues and discussing them with managers and other product controller staffWorking with trading, operations, finance, and risk and compliance departments
