A cybersecurity engineer plays a critical role in safeguarding an organization’s digital infrastructure. This position focuses on designing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring security measures to protect systems, networks and data from cyber threats. Cybersecurity engineers work closely with IT teams, management and other stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities, develop defense strategies and ensure compliance with security standards. They also stay ahead of emerging threats by continuously evaluating and improving security protocols.
