AI/ML Analyst Job Description

The AI/ML analyst uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to drive business value and innovation within an organization. The analyst is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining AI and ML models that address complex business problems and enhance decision-making processes. They work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI/ML applications, gather and preprocess data, select appropriate algorithms, and evaluate model performance. A strong foundation in statistics, programming, and data manipulation is essential, as is the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical individuals. Typically, an AI/ML analyst holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field, with two to five years of experience in AI/ML projects. Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, and experience with cloud-based ML services are highly valued.
