<p>Robert Half is recruiting a Financial Controller for our SME manufacturing client in Hertfordshire. The position will be hired on an interim basis for up to 6 months, with potential to become permanent. </p><p>The position of Financial Controller will be varied and require somebody with a hands-on approach, they key duties are as follows; </p><ul><li>Ensure integrity and control of primary financial systems</li><li>Maintain oversight and control of the balance sheet</li><li>Ensure compliance with Segregation of Duties</li><li>Manage provision calculations, including, Inventory provision and Capitalised material variance</li><li>Bad debt and credit notes. This role involves preparing monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts, analysing financial performance, and providing insight into variances, trends, and key business drivers. Working closely with budget holders and senior management, the Financial Accountant supports forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes.
