To help them navigate this critical phase, we're looking for a commercially sharp <strong data-end="749" data-start="717">Interim Financial Controller</strong> with <strong data-start="755" data-end="769">US listing</strong> experience to bolster their finance function and ensure IPO-readiness from both a technical and operational standpoint.</p><h3 data-start="891" data-end="917">Key Responsibilities</h3><ul data-end="1729" data-start="918"><li data-start="918" data-end="1035"><p data-start="920" data-end="1035">Act as a key finance lead in the IPO workstream, supporting CFO and external advisors through the listing process</p></li><li data-start="1036" data-end="1129"><p data-start="1038" data-end="1129">Ensure compliance with <strong data-start="1061" data-end="1072">US GAAP</strong>, <strong data-end="1104" data-start="1074">SEC reporting requirements</strong>, and <strong data-start="1110" data-end="1127">SOX readiness</strong></p></li><li data-end="1252" data-start="1130"><p data-start="1132" data-end="1252">Lead technical accounting reviews and help prepare required financial statements, disclosures, and audit documentation</p></li><li data-start="1253" data-end="1363"><p data-end="1363" data-start="1255">Strengthen internal controls and improve financial reporting processes to meet US public company standards</p></li><li data-end="1482" data-start="1364"><p data-end="1482" data-start="1366">Partner with cross-functional teams (legal, tax, IR, etc.) to align financial operations with listing requirements</p></li><li data-start="1483" data-end="1568"><p data-start="1485" data-end="1568">Support the build-out of a scalable finance function for life as a public company</p></li><li data-end="1654" data-start="1569"><p data-end="1654" data-start="1571">Manage and coordinate the external audit process, including PCAOB audit standards</p></li><li data-start="1655" data-end="1729"><p data-start="1657" data-end="1729">Provide ad hoc strategic financial input to the executive team and board</p></li></ul><h3 data-start="1731" data-end="1759">What We're Looking For</h3><ul data-start="1760" data-end="2239"><li data-start="1760" data-end="1841"><p data-start="1762" data-end="1841">Proven experience supporting a company through a <strong data-start="1811" data-end="1839">US IPO or direct listing</strong></p></li><li data-start="1842" data-end="1916"><p data-start="1844" data-end="1916">Deep knowledge of <strong data-end="1873" data-start="1862">US GAAP</strong>, <strong data-start="1875" data-end="1890">SEC filings</strong>, and <strong data-start="1896" data-end="1914">SOX compliance</strong></p></li><li data-end="2002" data-start="1917"><p data-end="2002" data-start="1919">ACA/CPA or equivalent qualification with a strong technical accounting background</p></li><li data-end="2071" data-start="2003"><p data-start="2005" data-end="2071">Experience working with US advisors, auditors, and legal counsel</p></li><li data-end="2151" data-start="2072"><p data-end="2151" data-start="2074">Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with lots of moving parts</p></li><li data-end="2239" data-start="2152"><p data-end="2239" data-start="2154">Able to operate hands-on when needed, but also step up to board-level conversations</p></li></ul><h3 data-start="2241" data-end="2259">Nice to Have</h3><ul data-end="2453" data-start="2260"><li data-start="2260" data-end="2334"><p data-end="2334" data-start="2262">Experience in high-growth tech, life sciences, or clean energy sectors</p></li><li data-end="2394" data-start="2335"><p data-end="2394" data-start="2337">Big 4 background and/or prior public company experience</p></li><li data-end="2453" data-start="2395"><p data-start="2397" data-end="2453">Familiarity with dual reporting (e.g., IFRS and US GAAP)</p></li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
