This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, commercial insight, and the ability to drive robust financial processes and reporting. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Lead and develop a small finance team providing oversight, coaching, and performance management</li><li>Take ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely production of management accounts and forecasts</li><li>Deliver a robust period-end close, driving continuous improvements across the end-to-end process</li><li>Prepare and present board packs, delivering clear insight on business performance, regulatory requirements, management information, and forward-looking analysis</li><li>Oversee project spend of approximately including financial due diligence, tracking performance, and ensuring strong cost control across multiple concurrent initiatives</li><li>Act as a key finance partner to senior stakeholders across the leadership team, providing commercial challenge, insight, and decision support</li><li>Support the implementation and optimisation of a new reporting system, alongside broader spend management and performance improvement initiatives</li></ul> Candidate Profile <ul><li>Proven experience in a senior finance business partnering role within a complex environment</li><li>Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams</li><li>Demonstrable expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis</li><li>Highly commercial mindset with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders</li><li>Experience working across projects or transformation initiatives is highly desirable</li><li>Systems experience beneficial</li></ul> Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions. Management Accountant (Temp to Perm) Central Birmingham - Hybrid (3 days on site) £45,000 - £55,000We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a business undergoing significant transformation and restructure. This is a temp to perm opportunity offering real scope to make an impact and grow within the organisation.The business is restructuring and is seeking hands on commercially aware Management Accountant that can the core finance responsibilities and spot opportunities to improve process. The Role:<ul><li>Working closely with a Senior Finance Business Partner</li><li>Full ownership of management accounts including P&L, budgeting and forecasting</li><li>Managing key areas such as fixed assets and payroll</li><li>Supporting the creation of new pricing models and reporting packs</li><li>Driving process improvements and efficiencies across finance operations</li><li>Supporting group reporting and management information</li></ul> The Environment:The first 3-6 months will be heavily project focused, with an emphasis on building new processes, improving reporting, and supporting the business through change.
