You be will be responsible for following duties:</p><ul><li>Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts, including analytical review of the results and communicating underlying trends to the FD.</li><li>Lead the development of annual budget and quarterly financial forecasts.</li><li>Review of nominal ledger and balance sheet accounts, including posting of accrual journals in line with budget and real time knowledge.</li><li>Review of accrued and deferred net sales in line with revenue recognition principals and preparation of journals</li><li>Monitor and manage the agency's cash flow to ensure liquidity and prevent financial risk and reporting to HQ</li><li>Oversee billing and credit control function</li><li>Lead year-end reporting and audit</li><li>Oversee WIP management</li><li>Sign-off payment runs and bank transactions</li><li>Track and analyse financial performance, identifying key trends and potential areas for improvement.</li><li>Acknowledges the full extent of responsibilities and can prioritise a workplan that facilitates both the team and their reporting deadlines.</li><li>Provides insight and expertise to strengthen finance expertise and stakeholder relationships.</li><li>Can work with theoretical insight and information to draw recommendations.</li><li>Lead charge ability and utilisation reporting meeting with annotated analysis and recommendations.</li><li>Reviews overhead budgets vs actual.</li><li>Can advise how to better improve EBITDA without compromising on ROI</li><li>Understands the requirements of cash flow for project work, assisting internal and external teams accordingly.</li><li>Helps drives commercial understanding and financial process throughout the client service team.</li><li>Work with clients on financial matters related to project budgets, invoicing, and payment schedules.</li><li>Completes Performance review meetings with direct reports and provides feedback on wider team when requested.</li><li>Helps support project teams, upskilling, training, inducting as required.</li><li>Manage and mentor the finance team, ensuring their professional development and effectiveness.</li><li>Working closely with the Managing Director and Heads of Departments, including their account management and operations team to provide financial guidance and support for commercial decision making.</li></ul><p><strong>Profile:</strong></p><p>The successful, temporary Finance Manager will be either part-qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or Qualified by experience and ideally have previous experience experience working in Creative, PR, Advertising, Marketing or Media.</p><p>You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.</p><p><strong>Client:</strong></p><p>Our client are a leading Media business based in London.
