The environment is collaborative, purpose‑driven, and committed to long‑term sustainability.<br><p> </p><p><strong>Contract & Benefits</strong></p><ul><li><strong>3-4 month interim contract</strong></li><li><strong>Immediate start</strong></li><li><strong>Hybrid working: 2 days per week onsite</strong></li><li><strong>Salary:</strong> £40,000-£45,000 annual equivalent</li><li>Opportunity to contribute during a critical audit and financial planning period</li></ul><h2><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h2><p>Working closely with the Head of Finance and wider leadership team, you will:</p><ul><li>Support the organisation through its pre‑audit period, ensuring audit files, reconciliations, schedules and controls are accurate and complete.</li><li>Deliver timely, accurate management accounts, commentary and variance analysis.</li><li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting, supporting financial planning during a busy period of transition.</li><li>Strengthen reporting processes around project‑based income, grant‑funded activity and restricted funds.</li><li>Improve the visibility of financial information for non‑financial stakeholders across programmes and operational functions.</li><li>Support the finance assistants with month‑end routines, reconciliations, and operational finance activity.</li></ul><h2><strong>About You</strong></h2><p>You will be a part‑qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS, or equivalent) with strong experience in management accounting and month‑end processes. You bring:</p><ul><li>A proven ability to support audits, produce accurate management information, and work efficiently at pace.</li><li>Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate numbers into meaningful insight.</li><li>Experience within not‑for‑profit, charitable, or project‑based environments (advantageous but not essential).</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner with non‑finance colleagues.</li><li>A proactive, hands‑on approach - able to slot into a small finance team during a period of change.</li></ul><h2><strong>Why This Role</strong></h2><p>This interim assignment provides a unique opportunity to support a purpose‑led organisation at a pivotal moment.
