This hybrid role is ideal for someone with prior experience and exceptional organisational skills. Offering up to £30,000 (FTE) depending on experience. Key responsibilities:<ul><li>Reviewing onboarding documentation and ensuring completeness of client records</li><li>Conducting initial assessments of new assignments and gathering outstanding information</li><li>Assisting project leads with the setup of complex engagements</li><li>Contributing to the preparation of financial data for proposal submissions</li><li>Managing updates and submissions via external client platforms</li><li>Tracking and reporting on dormant or paused assignments</li><li>Performing regular compliance checks on time entry data, with weekly and monthly follow-ups</li><li>Reviewing and verifying time approval workflows on a monthly basis</li><li>Providing cover and acting as a liaison point during team member absence</li><li>Assisting with requests related to tax and regulatory documentation</li></ul> What they're looking for: <ul><li>Good IT skills (including Excel)</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work to tight deadlines</li><li>Ability to organise and plan</li></ul>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions. The Management Accountant will receive a salary of up to £40,000 along with other attractive benefits including study support if that is required!This role has opened up due to an internal promotion, displaying that career development will be available within this organisation. Primary responsibilities - <ul><li>Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.</li><li>Post journals for accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments.</li><li>Support the preparation of monthly cashflow forecasts.</li><li>Maintain and update the fixed asset register, including depreciation calculations.</li><li>Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Carry out intercompany reconciliations and investigate variances.</li><li>Assist in preparing reports and analysis to support business decisions.</li><li>Help with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries.</li><li>Support continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.</li></ul> Key experience and attributes - <ul><li>Experience in a similar finance or assistant accountant role.</li><li>Solid understanding of accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.</li><li>Good Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software</li><li>Strong attention to detail and time management skills.</li><li>Confident communicator, able to work with colleagues across the business.</li><li>Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.</li></ul>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
