This is a fantastic opportunity for newly created role reporting to board level, ideal for a candidate with previous experience within the sector at head of finance, financial controller or finance director level. Duration: 6 months minimum - opportunity for extension.Daily rate: Up to £400pd (Inside IR35)Start date: Early/Mid-OctoberHybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 remote.Location: Near Bath. Reporting to board level, you will take responsibility for the following: * Production of monthly management accounts* Cashflow forecasting and treasury management* Bank covenant monitoring and compliance reporting* Oversight of payroll for 400-500 employees* Management of sales ledger, purchase ledger and debt collection* Responsibility for cash and investment management* VAT returns and Corporation Tax compliance* Management of the external audit process* Insurance claims administration* Attendance at Finance Committee meetings and preparation of associated reports* Supporting the implementation of a new HR and payroll system This role suits a candidate that is a qualified accountant and can hit the ground running on the above responsibilities.
