As part of this role you will be responsible for the following duties:</p><ul><li>Monthly management accounts preparation (2nd draft) 1st draft covered by finance analyst</li><li>Review coordination and variance analysis</li><li>Departmental analysis and reporting </li><li>Process improvement initiatives</li><li>Support daily bank reconciliation</li><li>Revenue recognition</li><li>Review Funds Transfer and controls accounts - investigate variances and post adjustments when required.</li><li>Daily Revenue and profits reconciliation (trading system to accounting system), investigate variances and escalate where necessary.</li><li>Working with settlements/treasury and HOD on any variances to debtors/creditors and banks.</li><li>Daily Safeguarding and profits movements alongside finance analyst.</li><li>Working out commissions - reporting to payroll on time. Dealing with queries from front office.</li><li>Manage rolling forecasts - 1st draft.</li><li>Monthly departmental reporting.</li></ul><p><strong>Profile:</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA and have experience working within a small / medium sized firm where they have been hands on with tasks ranging from daily bank reconciliations, to ownership of the balance sheet. You will have also have the chance to implement and improve processes within the finance function. </p><p>You must be immediate or on a 1 week notice to be considered for this role. </p><p><strong>Client:</strong></p><p>Our client is a Trading platform based in London. They are looking for an immediate, interim accountant to join them on for 6 months.
