This is a true top to bottom opportunity. They have an extensive network of expertise and professionals covering a broad range of client services for numerous industries.</p><p>Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a high-calibre Financial Controller to join their finance department.</p><p><strong>Role</strong></p><p>The Financial Controller will support the CFO and work closely with the FP&A function in the day-to-day running of the finance department. They will manage and lead the team whilst taking ownership of month-end/year-end processes, reporting and analysis. This position will take on a number of key duties including:</p><ul><li>Lead, mentor and develop a small finance team covering accounts payable, billing, credit control and cashiering.</li><li>Oversee monthly and year-end financial reporting in line with UK GAAP and statutory requirements, ensuring reconciliations and postings are completed on time.</li><li>Maintain strong financial controls, policies and procedures, driving consistency and best practice across the business.</li><li>Manage WIP, debtor reviews and payment runs, ensuring effective working capital management and process efficiency.</li><li>Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors and financial stakeholders including banks and insurers.</li><li>Support the CFO with partnership, tax and strategic finance matters, and collaborate with the FP&A function on budgeting, forecasting and reporting.</li><li>Develop a sound understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and contribute to system and process improvements.</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><p>The ideal profile for this Financial Controller position should have the following attributes:</p><ul><li>ACA qualified (or equivalent, ACCA/CIMA) with 4+ years of post qualification experience</li><li>Experience working in professional services within a similar financial control capacity</li><li>Good understanding of WIP.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Strong academic background</li><li>Confidence using Excel and associated formulas</li><li><strong>Desirable: </strong>Partnerships experience, use of Dynamics 365 Business Central</li></ul><p><strong>Salary / Package</strong></p><p>£80,000 - £90,000 + additional benefits including:</p><ul><li>Discretionary bonus</li><li>Hybrid working</li><li>25 days holiday + bank holidays</li><li>Pension scheme - 5%</li><li>Private medical</li><li>PerkBox & retail discounts</li><li>Income protection</li><li>EAP, Life Assurance, Eye-care and more.</li></ul><p>The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
