Other Duties: Support budget monitoring and forecasting activities. Assist auditors with year-end audit queries and documentation. You will be responsible for following duties:</p><ul><li data-end="163" data-start="91"><p data-end="163" data-start="93">Manage statutory and group accounts for Spain, France, and Portugal.</p></li><li data-start="164" data-end="230"><p data-end="230" data-start="166">Prepare 3-month cash forecasts and reconcile Accounts Payable. </p></li><li data-start="301" data-end="370"><p data-end="370" data-start="303">Review invoices on hold and maintain prepayment/deposit accounts.</p></li><li data-start="371" data-end="443"><p data-start="373" data-end="443">Run monthly payroll with HR and providers; ensure timely compliance.</p></li><li data-end="511" data-start="444"><p data-end="511" data-start="446">Record and reconcile payroll entries; support annual reporting.</p></li><li data-end="619" data-start="512"><p data-end="619" data-start="514">Ensure tax compliance (VAT, SII, CIT, Intrastat); act as main contact for tax advisors and authorities.</p></li><li data-start="620" data-end="709"><p data-end="709" data-start="622">Reconcile intercompany balances and maintain Local GAAP ledgers aligned with US GAAP.</p></li><li data-end="764" data-start="710"><p data-start="712" data-end="764">Support audits, tax computations, and inspections.</p></li><li data-start="765" data-end="839"><p data-end="839" data-start="767">Drive process improvements and automation in accounting and reporting.</p></li><li data-start="840" data-end="919"><p data-start="842" data-end="919">Manage month-end close: journals, reconciliations, updates, and narratives</p></li></ul><p><strong>Profile:</strong></p><p>The successful, temporary Accountant will be part qualified and be fluent in either French or Spanish. </p><p>You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.</p><p><strong>Client:</strong></p><p>Our client are a leading Tech Company based in London.
