- We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead business-focused initiatives within the IT services sector in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This Long-term Contract position will oversee corporate rebranding and website redevelopment work, with an emphasis on keeping timelines, budgets, vendors, and stakeholder communications aligned. The successful candidate will bring a practical, delivery-oriented approach and help ensure multiple project streams continue to advance smoothly in a primarily Waterfall environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop detailed project plans and guide execution to keep milestones, deliverables, and business objectives on track.<br>• Monitor project budgets and schedules, identifying variances early and taking action to maintain progress.<br>• Maintain oversight of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, and communicate their impact to stakeholders in a timely manner.<br>• Coordinate internal teams and external service providers to ensure accountability and consistent delivery performance.<br>• Prepare clear updates for leadership, including status reporting, key decisions, and emerging concerns.<br>• Provide hands-on support in day-to-day project delivery activities to help remove barriers and maintain momentum.<br>• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to align priorities and keep project activities moving forward.<br>• Support additional initiatives as needed based on project demands and available capacity.<br>• Use project management tools, including Jira where applicable, to track work and support delivery coordination.
