  • <p>We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our client’s team near Niverville Manitoba on a contract basis. This position will take ownership of financial operations, deliver reliable reporting, and provide practical guidance that supports business planning and leadership decisions. The successful candidate will bring strong oversight across core accounting activities while helping maintain sound controls, steady cash management, and a high standard of financial accuracy.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Direct day-to-day financial operations across the full accounting cycle, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and current.</p><p>• Prepare monthly and annual close deliverables, including financial statements and supporting analysis for leadership review.</p><p>• Guide the development of budgets, forecasts, and performance reports to support planning and informed decision-making.</p><p>• Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting procedures to improve compliance, accuracy, and risk management.</p><p>• Monitor cash position, oversee reconciliations, and manage reporting related to fixed assets, payables, receivables, and payroll.</p><p>• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial stakeholders during audits and reporting cycles.</p><p>• Lead, coach, and support accounting staff by setting clear expectations, reviewing output, and encouraging continuous improvement.</p><p>• Identify opportunities to refine finance processes and implement more efficient reporting and operational practices.</p>
