  • <p><strong>This job posting is for a current vacancy with our client.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Our client, a well-established and growing organization within the financial services sector, is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist (Bilingual) to join their Toronto-based IT team.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT support professional who enjoys solving complex technical issues, mentoring junior team members, and serving as a trusted technology partner to employees and business stakeholders. This individual will act as a key escalation resource, providing high-touch support while helping to drive operational excellence across the IT support function.</p><p><br></p><p>This role is highly visible within the organization and will support employees at all levels, including senior leadership and executives. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, collaborative, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you will do and how you will make an impact …</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues raised by the Helpdesk team.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.</li><li>Provide support for Windows environments, Microsoft 365 applications, Exchange, MFA solutions, remote access tools, printers, scanners, VOIP phones, conferencing systems, and other end-user technologies.</li><li>Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications.</li><li>Take ownership of incidents and service requests from initial intake through resolution, ensuring accurate and detailed ticket documentation.</li><li>Mentor and support junior IT team members, serving as an informal leader and go-to technical resource.</li><li>Coordinate onboarding activities, including workstation setup, equipment deployment, and IT orientation for new employees.</li><li>Provide support to both internal employees and external business users through phone, email, in-person, and remote support channels.</li><li>Assist with cloud-based applications, secure messaging platforms, advisor portals, and authentication technologies.</li><li>Collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.</li><li>Occasionally travel to support other Canadian office locations as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why we are excited about you …</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>You are an excellent communicator and have experience working with non-technical users.</li><li>You are proactive and curious, and are eager to learn.</li><li>You are an IT generalist and enjoy having a variety of work and responsibilities.</li><li>You are exceptionally organized and diligent with ticket documentation.</li></ul>
