- <p>We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst Inventory and Costing to support manufacturing and distribution finance operations in Cambridge, Ontario. This 9-month Contract opportunity is ideal for someone with strong expertise in inventory accounting, standard costing, and analytical reporting within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will provide financial insight, help guide entry-level analysts through day-to-day work, and contribute to accurate reporting and operational decision-making.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location: Cambridge, ON</strong></p><p><strong>Work model: 3 days onsite </strong></p><p><strong>Contract length: 9 mon.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee financial analysis related to manufacturing activities, with a strong focus on inventory valuation, cost accuracy, and plant performance.</p><p>• Prepare and review standard costing data to ensure product costs are maintained accurately and reflect operational realities.</p><p>• Analyze inventory movements, variances, and stock-related trends to support effective financial control and reporting.</p><p>• Provide day-to-day guidance and informal mentorship to two analysts, helping prioritize work and strengthen team output.</p><p>• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, reports, and ad hoc analyses using advanced Excel tools and formulas.</p><p>• Support reporting across accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and product costing to ensure consistency and accuracy.</p><p>• Work within business systems such as Microsoft Dynamics environments to extract data, validate results, and improve reporting processes.</p><p>• Contribute to budgeting, planning, and performance review activities by delivering clear financial insights to stakeholders.</p>
