This Long-term Contract opportunity is suited to a hands-on specialist who can strengthen cloud security posture while contributing to platform design, automation, and operational reliability. The role blends technical delivery with governance, requiring close partnership across engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to build and maintain resilient cloud environments. Responsibilities: • Design and improve secure cloud architecture patterns that align with operational needs, compliance expectations, and platform scalability goals. • Implement and manage cloud security controls across infrastructure, applications, and services to reduce risk and strengthen governance. • Administer identity and access strategies by refining permissions, access models, and authentication practices across cloud environments. • Build and maintain infrastructure automation using configuration management and infrastructure-as-code approaches to promote consistency and efficiency. • Embed security practices into deployment pipelines and engineering workflows to support DevSecOps delivery and application protection. • Support containerized and Kubernetes-based platforms by applying security standards, monitoring controls, and platform hardening measures. • Troubleshoot cloud networking, connectivity, and server-related issues while helping maintain stable and secure service performance. • Collaborate with technical stakeholders using tools such as Jira to plan work, track progress, and resolve security and platform concerns. • Provide technical guidance during deployments, platform enhancements, and ongoing operational support within cloud-hosted environments.

What you will do and how you will make an impact … As a key member of the engineering organization, you will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that are embedded directly into modern CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with software developers, DevOps professionals, and product teams to ensure that quality is built into every stage of the development process. A significant focus of this role will be supporting critical payment systems, including wire transfers, ACH transactions, and real-time payment capabilities. You will help validate both internally developed applications and several mission-critical third-party platforms that support payment processing and compliance functions.
