Responsibilities:• Direct the day-to-day operations of the Hub, providing leadership, guidance, and performance oversight for the local team.• Prepare the annual operating plan and budget forecast in partnership with finance stakeholders, and support submission for leadership review and approval.• Coordinate workforce planning, recruitment activities, onboarding, and employee documentation while ensuring compliance with employment standards and internal policies.• Manage office and laboratory space requirements, including site setup, equipment needs, and ongoing facility operations in a cost-conscious manner.• Oversee purchasing activities for operational and project-related needs, maintaining proper approvals, documentation, and separation of responsibilities throughout the procurement process.• Liaise with technology teams to arrange system access, equipment provisioning, and information security support for Hub employees and operations.• Support project start-up and delivery processes by coordinating project identifiers, confirming scope and funding details, and maintaining accurate reporting on time, effort, and costs.• Monitor external partnerships and agreements to ensure appropriate internal approvals are obtained and that contractual obligations, confidentiality terms, and reporting commitments are followed.• Track financial performance against approved budgets, assist with intercompany invoicing and cost reporting, and contribute to audit readiness when required.• Maintain regular communication with key teams across regions, including Germany, to align priorities, resolve operational dependencies, and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
