This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a focus on continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.</li><li>Prepare financial reports, forecasts, cash flow projections, and analysis to support executive leadership and Board reporting.</li><li>Perform revenue recognition analysis and ensure appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with ASPE.</li><li>Support annual budgeting and financial planning processes.</li><li>Review GST/HST filings and help ensure timely compliance with reporting requirements.</li><li>Monitor cash flow and treasury reporting activities.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements, including optimization of SAGE 300 for reporting and operational efficiency.</li><li>Maintain compliance with ASPE and internal control policies.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and support development across finance team functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting.</li><li>Liaise with external auditors and support annual audit requirements.</li><li>Contribute to finance transformation, process enhancement, and automation initiatives.</li></ul>
