- <p>We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to support mining-related supply chain activities for a long-term contract opportunity based in Vancouver, British Columbia. In this contract role, you will help oversee transportation planning, supplier coordination, procurement support, and trade documentation while keeping operations efficient and compliant. The successful candidate will bring strong organizational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to work across teams to resolve day-to-day logistics issues in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring materials move on schedule and transportation plans align with operational needs.</p><p>• Support procurement and supplier workflows by using business systems such as Ariba, ERP platforms, and related tools to manage logistics and purchasing activities.</p><p>• Prepare, review, and maintain customs and shipping documentation to support import and export compliance with applicable trade regulations and company standards.</p><p>• Work closely with internal teams, vendors, carriers, and service providers to address delivery concerns, clarify requirements, and maintain strong working relationships.</p><p>• Investigate operational issues such as freight delays, invoice mismatches, supplier escalations, and contract-related concerns, then drive timely resolution.</p><p>• Monitor vendor and carrier performance against service expectations and key metrics, providing updates and identifying areas for improvement.</p><p>• Contribute to process improvements by analyzing recurring logistics challenges, identifying root causes, and recommending practical corrective actions.</p><p>• Adapt to evolving business processes, systems, and organizational priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness across competing tasks.</p>
