This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can build strong relationships, guide employees and leaders on best practices, and help strengthen a culture of prevention. The successful candidate will combine practical field experience with sound knowledge of safety legislation, inspections, investigations, and training delivery.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead regular site reviews to identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and promote consistent adherence to safety standards.<br>• Conduct incident and near-miss investigations, determine underlying causes, and help implement measures that reduce the likelihood of recurrence.<br>• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and other training sessions that improve awareness and reinforce safe work practices.<br>• Monitor compliance with applicable legislation, industry requirements, and internal policies across multiple work locations.<br>• Support audit preparation and participate in certification or compliance reviews by maintaining accurate records and required documentation.<br>• Work closely with supervisors, workers, and other stakeholders to encourage accountability and strengthen day-to-day safety performance.<br>• Track outstanding safety items, follow up on corrective actions, and help prioritize activities based on operational risk.<br>• Travel between sites as needed to provide on-site guidance, coaching, and hands-on safety support.
