This is a full-time/permanent role on site.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Advantages:</strong></p><p>-Competitive salary (60-80K) + 5% EOY bonus</p><p>-Full benefits + RRSP matching</p><p>-3 weeks vacation + other perks/discounts</p><p>-Free parking </p><p>-Excellent team</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>• Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing and posting recurring and non-recurring journal entries, completing reconciliations, and maintaining accurate supporting schedules and workpapers.</p><p>• Support audit and compliance requirements by preparing audit schedules, providing documentation to external auditors and tax-related reporting, and ensuring adherence to GAAP and company accounting policies.</p><p>• Collaborate cross-functionally with AP, AR, payroll, and operations teams to ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial reporting.</p><p>• Prepare tax filings, supporting schedules, and related documentation for a range of direct and indirect tax obligations across the company and associated entities.</p><p>• Reconcile tax-related accounts and review balances to ensure financial reporting reflects the organization’s current tax position accurately.</p><p>• Work closely with teams across operations, finance, legal, treasury, and other departments to strengthen controls and improve tax reporting processes.</p><p>• Coordinate information and respond to requests during tax audits and assessments by conducting analysis and assembling required backup documentation.</p><p>• Track filing deadlines, licence renewals, and payment schedules through a maintained compliance calendar to support timely submissions.</p><p>• Liaise with external advisors and service providers by gathering records and preparing materials required for corporate tax and information returns.</p><p>• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance documentation, and automate recurring tax and accounting activities while reducing compliance risk.</p><p>• Support cash forecasting by preparing tax estimates and monitoring payments or recoveries in collaboration with treasury and finance teams.</p><p>• Handling other financial related duties as assigned. </p><p>• Conduct technical research, assist with internal audit queries related to customer setup, and contribute to special projects or other assigned accounting duties.</p>
