- <p>About the Opportunity</p><p>Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturer in Concord, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead plant operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support the company's ongoing growth objectives.</p><p>This is a hands-on leadership role for a proven manufacturing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence, employee engagement, safety, quality, and productivity.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure production, quality, safety, and delivery targets are achieved.</li><li>Manage and mentor production supervisors, team leads, and operational staff.</li><li>Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall operational performance.</li><li>Monitor KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and drive corrective actions.</li><li>Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Customer Service teams to optimize performance.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.</li><li>Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.</li><li>Lead continuous improvement programs using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee development.</li></ul><p><br></p>
