  • We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to join a healthcare organization in Toronto, Ontario on a Long-term Contract basis. This position will oversee day-to-day payables operations, support accurate financial processing, and help maintain strong vendor relationships in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring leadership in accounts payable, sound knowledge of financial systems, and a strong focus on accuracy, timelines, and compliance.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead daily accounts payable activities, ensuring invoices are reviewed, coded, approved, and processed accurately within established deadlines.<br>• Supervise payment cycles by coordinating electronic payments, cheque runs, and related documentation to support timely vendor settlement.<br>• Monitor vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and respond to inquiries with careful attention to detail to maintain positive supplier relationships.<br>• Review account coding and financial entries for completeness and accuracy while supporting adherence to internal controls and reporting standards.<br>• Use accounting platforms and expense management tools, including Concur and similar systems, to manage payable workflows and improve processing efficiency.<br>• Support data validation, transaction tracking, and record maintenance to ensure financial information remains current and well organized.<br>• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to address processing issues, streamline workflows, and support updates involving systems such as NetSuite or Concur where required.<br>• Prepare summaries, reconciliations, and status updates related to accounts payable activities for leadership review and decision-making.
