  • <p>Robert Half Canada is seeking an experienced <strong>Human Resources Generalist</strong> for a professional organization. This role is ideal for an HR professional who combines strong knowledge of human resources practices with sound judgment, discretion, and a collaborative approach. The Human Resources Generalist will work closely with HR leadership to support people programs, employee relations, talent processes, compliance, reporting, and organizational change initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Human Resources Programs and Practices</strong></p><ul><li>Provide guidance to managers and team leads on human resources matters, employee relations issues, policy interpretation, and workplace practices.</li><li>Support the development, implementation, communication, and continuous improvement of HR policies, programs, and procedures.</li><li>Research HR trends, best practices, and legislative updates, and recommend improvements to support organizational objectives.</li><li>Maintain and update HR policies, processes, and employee handbook materials to support accuracy, consistency, and compliance.</li><li>Monitor changes in employment-related legislation and support updates to internal practices as needed.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve processes, create efficiencies, and strengthen the employee experience.</li><li>Administer online training programs and support HR-related learning initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>Talent and Employee Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Support and enhance employee onboarding programs to help new hires integrate successfully into the organization.</li><li>Conduct onboarding and offboarding discussions to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Communicate policies, procedures, and HR program information clearly and consistently.</li><li>Support the annual performance management and appraisal process, including timelines, documentation, and follow-up.</li></ul><p><strong>Compliance and Health & Safety</strong></p><ul><li>Support compliance with applicable federal and provincial legislation, including employment standards and workplace health and safety requirements.</li><li>Monitor legislative updates and support policy and process enhancements in response to regulatory changes.</li><li>Lead or support health and safety committee activities, wellness initiatives, and related workplace programs.</li><li>Support diversity and inclusion initiatives and committees that contribute to an inclusive and respectful workplace.</li></ul><p><strong>Talent Attraction and Recruitment</strong></p><ul><li>Support full-cycle recruitment for administrative and professional-level roles.</li><li>Post opportunities to relevant job boards, professional associations, and recruitment channels.</li><li>Screen applications, prepare interview questions, schedule and conduct interviews, coordinate reference checks, and assist with offer processes.</li><li>Support hiring managers with recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and selection processes.</li></ul><p><br></p>

  • We are looking for a Business Analytics/Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making within a financial services environment in Toronto, Ontario. This Long-term Contract position will focus on uncovering fraud-related trends, improving analytical processes, and translating complex business needs into practical data solutions. The successful candidate will work across analytics, business analysis, and data engineering activities to strengthen operational insight and support effective risk management.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Analyze banking and lending data to identify suspicious activity, emerging fraud patterns, and behavioural indicators that support stronger detection strategies.<br>• Build, refine, and maintain analytical datasets and data pipelines using SQL and big data tools such as Trino and Hive to support reporting and investigation needs.<br>• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document workflows, and map current processes related to branch and lending operations.<br>• Develop and enhance business rules and analytical logic that improve the identification of application fraud and other financial risks.<br>• Translate business objectives into clear data and reporting solutions that support operational teams and decision-makers.<br>• Contribute to project delivery activities within financial services technology initiatives, including planning, coordination, and change-related support where required.<br>• Apply banking knowledge to assess lending practices, underwriting considerations, and compliance-related data requirements in analysis work.<br>• Prepare insights, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders through clear documentation, reporting, and presentations.
