- <p>Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources function for a growing multi-site manufacturer. Reporting to senior leadership, this role will be responsible for driving HR strategy and day-to-day operations across multiple locations, with a strong focus on employee relations, labor relations, workforce planning, and organizational development.</p><p>The successful candidate will bring proven experience within a manufacturing environment and possess strong expertise in employee relations, contract negotiation support, legislative compliance, and partnering with operational leadership teams to foster a productive, engaged, and high-performing workforce.</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Lead and oversee all human resources activities across multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring consistency in policies, programs, and employee experience.</li><li>Act as the primary advisor to leadership on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, workplace accommodations, and policy interpretation.</li><li>Support labor relations initiatives, including oversight of collective agreement administration, grievance management, and participation in contract negotiations and bargaining preparation.</li><li>Partner with plant and operational leaders to proactively address workforce challenges, employee engagement, retention, and succession planning initiatives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Ontario employment legislation, labor laws, occupational health and safety requirements, and company policies.</li><li>Lead recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives to support organizational growth and operational requirements.</li><li>Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, handbooks, and best practices across all locations.</li><li>Oversee employee investigations and provide recommendations that mitigate organizational risk while maintaining positive employee relations.</li><li>Support compensation administration, attendance management programs, disability management, and HR reporting.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements and HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, operational effectiveness, and workforce productivity.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.</li><li>Partner with senior leadership on organizational planning, change management, and workforce development initiatives.</li></ul><p><br></p>
