  • We are looking for a Recruitment &amp; Onboarding Specialist to join a construction and contractor organization on a Contract basis in North Vancouver, British Columbia. This position supports recruitment and employee integration by coordinating recruitment activities, delivering a positive onboarding experience, and assisting with core HR programs. The successful candidate will help attract talent with relevant experience, strengthen employee experience, and maintain organized, compliant HR processes in a fast-paced environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead recruitment activities from intake to offer for a wide range of positions, including office, field, hourly, salaried, co-op, and specialized roles.<br>• Develop engaging job postings and advertise openings across appropriate sourcing channels to reach candidates with relevant experience.<br>• Identify prospective talent through online platforms, industry networks, referrals, events, and industry groups while building ongoing candidate pipelines.<br>• Review applications, conduct initial candidate evaluations, and coordinate interview scheduling while keeping applicants informed throughout the process.<br>• Prepare employment offers, assist with compensation discussions, and support related administration such as salary benchmarking and benefits coordination.<br>• Oversee onboarding from acceptance through early integration, including pre-employment checks, documentation, orientation sessions, and new employee communications.<br>• Partner with teams such as IT, Payroll, Safety, and Operations to arrange system access, equipment, workspace needs, and site readiness for new employees.<br>• Maintain accurate recruitment and employee records, track HR metrics, and contribute reporting insights to support workforce planning and continuous improvement.<br>• Assist with engagement initiatives, training coordination, recognition activities, performance review administration, and other HR projects that support a positive workplace culture.
