  • We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to provide strategic and operational HR leadership for a unionized manufacturing environment in Surrey, British Columbia. This role works closely with site and business leaders to strengthen employee relations, support workforce planning, and guide key people initiatives across multiple operations. The successful candidate will help advance a workplace culture centred on safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide both strategic advice and hands-on HR support to operational leaders across several locations, ensuring people practices align with business goals.<br>• Lead employee and labour relations matters by advising on workplace investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, performance concerns, and policy application.<br>• Work in partnership with labour relations teams to manage grievances, interpret collective agreements, support bargaining activities, and contribute to overall union strategies.<br>• Build constructive relationships with union representatives to encourage effective communication and productive labour-management outcomes.<br>• Oversee talent-related activities such as hiring support, onboarding, succession planning, employee development, and broader organizational effectiveness initiatives.<br>• Manage the performance review cycle by facilitating goal setting, coaching conversations, development planning, and annual evaluation processes.<br>• Administer compensation-related programs, including job assessments, salary adjustments, merit reviews, and incentive processes.<br>• Track HR data and prepare reports that help leaders make informed decisions and identify opportunities for operational improvement.<br>• Maintain compliance with employment standards, company policies, collective agreements, and workplace health and safety requirements.

  • <p>Our client is seeking a Payroll &amp; Benefits Manager to join their growing organization.</p><p><br></p><p>The Payroll &amp; Benefits Manager will report into senior leadership and be responsible for leading the payroll and benefits function across a multi-site Canadian organization. This position will oversee full-cycle payroll, employee benefits administration, payroll accounting, compliance, and a small payroll team while acting as the organization&#39;s subject matter expert for payroll and benefits.
