This newly created Senior Financial Analyst role will report directly to the Group Controller and play a key part in building and strengthening FP&A, improving operational visibility, and supporting leadership with timely, meaningful analysis. This is an opportunity to move beyond the numbers, gaining first hand exposure to the operational and strategic drivers behind the business. Key responsibilities • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting with a strong focus on manufacturing and product operations.• Partner with offshore finance and analysis teams to improve the quality, timeliness, and consistency of reporting.• Build, maintain, and enhance financial models used for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.• Explain financial results and operational variances in a clear, practical way for non finance stakeholders.• Help establish and track KPIs tied to manufacturing performance such as scrap, shipping rates, and fill rates.• Develop and monitor dashboards and reporting tools as the business moves toward a new BI environment.• Identify process improvements across finance and operations and help implement practical solutions.• Provide guidance and coordination on accounting and FP&A activities, occasionally stepping in to assist with journal entries or close related tasks.• Gradually assume responsibility for the Controller’s day-to-day operational activities, allowing the Controller to focus more heavily on strategic initiatives.• Connect financial insights to operational decision making and overall business strategy.

This 9-month opportunity offers a hands-on accounting role with involvement in reporting, forecasting, and operational finance support across the business. The successful candidate will contribute to monthly close activities, financial analysis, and process enhancement while helping the finance team maintain strong day-to-day performance in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Manage monthly accounting close tasks, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the general ledger is accurate and complete. • Compile financial data and support forecasting cycles by updating assumptions, preparing analysis, and assisting with revised projections. • Create and maintain working papers, schedules, and backup documentation to support reporting and audit readiness. • Contribute to budgeting and profit and loss planning across different departments and operating areas. • Review actual financial performance against plans, explain variances, and highlight patterns or risks for management review. • Assist with cash flow monitoring, working capital reporting, and other ad hoc financial assessments as needed. • Oversee capital asset records and support related accounting entries, continuity schedules, and reconciliations. • Support share-related accounting administration and complete associated reconciliations within the general ledger. • Help produce internal financial reports and dashboards, and participate in testing, data validation, and reconciliation work tied to finance system changes. • Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting workflows through improved processes, automation, and reporting tools while collaborating closely with the broader finance team.

In this role, you will provide immediate support to the corporate accounting function, with a strong focus on consolidations, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and financial analysis across multiple entities. The position is well suited to an experienced, detail-oriented accounting specialist who can work independently, collaborate with site and corporate teams, and help strengthen accounting processes during a period of complex project activity.
