- <p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a 6-month contract supporting a large-scale ERP modernization initiative involving the migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to ensure business requirements are well-defined, documented, and successfully translated into solution designs.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience supporting ERP transformation projects, particularly within Dynamics AX or D365 F&O environments. This individual should be a true consultant who can quickly understand business processes, identify gaps and opportunities, facilitate discussions with stakeholders, and help drive project deliverables with minimal onboarding.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to the migration from AX 2012 to D365 F&O.</li><li>Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders to understand current-state processes and future-state requirements.</li><li>Document business processes, workflows, functional requirements, and user stories.</li><li>Conduct gap analyses between existing AX 2012 functionality and D365 F&O capabilities.</li><li>Collaborate closely with functional consultants, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Support solution design discussions and ensure requirements are clearly communicated to technical teams.</li><li>Assist with data migration planning, testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).</li><li>Develop test scenarios, coordinate testing activities, and track issue resolution.</li><li>Support organizational change management, user training, and adoption activities as required.</li><li>Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates on requirements and project progress.</li></ul>
