The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Canadian payroll processing, Dayforce, and payroll-related reconciliations in a collaborative hybrid work environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process Canadian payroll activities for a diverse employee population, ensuring pay is calculated accurately for hourly, salaried, and shift-based team members.<br>• Review and validate timesheet information for a designated employee group each pay cycle, resolving discrepancies before payroll is finalized.<br>• Complete manual payroll adjustments when required and maintain clear supporting documentation for audit and reporting purposes.<br>• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and coordinate with accounting to support accurate financial records.<br>• Reconcile benefit amounts in Excel and investigate variances to ensure deductions and employer contributions are recorded correctly.<br>• Work within Ceridian Dayforce to manage payroll transactions, employee pay data, and pay cycle updates.<br>• Support payroll operations during periods of organizational growth by helping maintain consistency, accuracy, and service levels.<br>• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in payroll, finance, and related departments to address payroll questions and follow up on outstanding items.
