- <p><strong>Interim Senior Financial Analyst, Accounting</strong></p><p> <strong>Location:</strong> Oakville, ON</p><p> <strong>Work Model:</strong> Primarily onsite (4–5 days/week)</p><p> <strong>Term:</strong> 12-month contract</p><p> <strong>Compensation</strong>; $90-$100K (per annum) </p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking a <strong>Senior Financial Analyst, Accounting</strong> for a <strong>12-month contract</strong> engagement. This role will support a portfolio of business entities and play a key part in day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, planning support, and business analysis.</p><p>The successful candidate will be a hands-on finance professional who combines strong technical accounting skills with business partnering capability. This individual will work closely with finance leadership and operational stakeholders to deliver timely reporting, meaningful analysis, and support for budgeting and forecasting activities in a multi-entity environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage accounting and financial analysis activities for a portfolio of entities or operating groups</li><li>Prepare monthly financial results with variance analysis, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting with clear commentary on performance drivers</li><li>Complete journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness of the close process</li><li>Review balance sheet accounts and maintain well-organized supporting documentation and year-end files</li><li>Support budget and forecast cycles, including operating expenses, cash flow, and capital planning</li><li>Partner with business leaders to review results, explain trends, and identify risks and opportunities</li><li>Develop and track financial and operational metrics to support decision-making</li><li>Assist with year-end audit requirements and external reporting support</li><li>Contribute to process improvement initiatives tied to systems, reporting, and internal controls</li></ul><p><br></p>
