- <p>We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to provide reliable technical assistance to employees in Brampton, Ontario. In this role, you will support day-to-day end-user computing needs, maintain core desktop and account administration processes, and help keep workplace technology secure and efficient. This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys solving technical issues, supporting a diverse user base, and contributing to stable IT operations.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Deliver front-line technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other workplace hardware used by employees.</p><p>• Investigate and resolve service desk tickets, user requests, and technical incidents in a timely and thorough manner.</p><p>• Diagnose issues involving operating systems, business applications, hardware components, printing, and remote connectivity, escalating more complex problems when needed.</p><p>• Set up, update, and retire user accounts, access rights, and group memberships while maintaining compliance with organizational security standards.</p><p>• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing equipment, configuring access, and ensuring account changes are completed accurately.</p><p>• Install, configure, and maintain desktop equipment, operating systems, software packages, and patches across the end-user environment.</p><p>• Track IT assets, keep support records current, and help coordinate device replacements and hardware lifecycle activities.</p><p>• Provide support for Microsoft 365 tools, Active Directory administration, password issues, and basic backup or recovery tasks.</p><p>• Troubleshoot network and remote access problems involving Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, switches, routers, wireless access points, and related infrastructure.</p><p>• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge articles, and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting safe computing practices across the organization</p>
