A well-established charitable and community-focused organization is seeking an experienced finance leader to join its team in a newly created leadership opportunity. This role is ideal for a CPA who enjoys balancing team leadership, audit oversight, financial reporting, internal controls, and hands-on operational finance responsibilities. Reporting to the senior finance leader, the Manager, Finance, Audit & Compliance will play a key role in strengthening financial stewardship, supporting organizational accountability, and ensuring strong governance practices across a complex, multi-program environment. This is a hybrid opportunity with periodic travel required within a 50 km radius. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & Business Partnership<ul><li>Act as a strategic finance partner to operational and executive leaders, providing financial guidance, analysis, and decision support.</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and organizational initiatives through meaningful financial insights.</li><li>Partner with stakeholders across the organization to improve financial literacy and promote sound financial decision-making.</li><li>Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.</li></ul>Team Leadership<ul><li>Lead, mentor, and develop members of the finance team across accounts payable, general accounting, and related functions.</li><li>Foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture focused on accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Support process optimization and scalability within the finance function.</li></ul>Audit, Compliance & Controls<ul><li>Lead the annual external audit process and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors.</li><li>Coordinate audit schedules, working papers, financial statement preparation, and year-end reporting requirements.</li><li>Maintain and enhance internal controls, governance practices, and financial policies.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, funding agreements, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.</li><li>Identify financial risks and recommend strategies to strengthen controls and mitigate exposure.</li></ul>Reporting & Process Improvement<ul><li>Support accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial reporting.</li><li>Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analyses to ensure reporting integrity.</li><li>Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and documentation.</li><li>Leverage financial systems and reporting tools to improve efficiency, reporting capabilities, and decision support.</li></ul>

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead manufacturing (non automotive) activities in Brantford, Ontario while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production outcomes. This role is responsible for guiding frontline teams, coordinating resources across departments, and maintaining steady progress against production targets. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, sound operational judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset to support daily performance and long-term effectiveness.This is a full time role, with day time hours of Monday to Friday.Responsibilities:• Oversee day-to-day production activities to keep output on track with schedules, service expectations, and operational priorities.• Provide direction, coaching, and ongoing support to production employees and team leads across assigned areas or shifts.• Review workflow, labour coverage, and equipment capacity to improve throughput and reduce interruptions.• Resolve operational issues quickly and work with internal partners to limit downtime and maintain consistent plant performance.• Maintain effective coordination with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other teams to support smooth operations.• Reinforce a safe work environment by leading safety discussions, inspections, incident follow-up, and corrective actions.• Uphold compliance with workplace policies, manufacturing procedures, and applicable health and safety standards.• Investigate product or process concerns and contribute to corrective and preventive measures that protect quality standards.• Champion continuous improvement efforts, including Lean practices, 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, and productivity enhancements.• Track operational metrics, prepare performance updates for leadership, and support workforce planning and resource allocation decisions.
