We are looking for a Facilities Assistant to support day-to-day building operations in Concord, Ontario. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical problem-solving, coordinating service requests, and helping maintain safe, functional workplaces. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to keep facilities issues moving to resolution across multiple sites. Responsibilities: • Coordinate communication between site contacts and external service providers to ensure facilities needs are addressed efficiently. • Monitor incoming maintenance requests in the designated system, assign work as needed, and follow progress through completion. • Provide operational support across two locations, helping maintain consistent service levels and site readiness. • Respond to day-to-day facilities concerns on site, including minor building issues, lighting needs, cleaning-related matters, and ad hoc service requests. • Carry out routine walkthroughs at each location with designated site partners to identify deficiencies and confirm outstanding items are progressing. • Maintain accurate records of open issues, track follow-up actions, and help drive timely closure of pending work. • Review and action facilities-related requests submitted through internal platforms, ensuring details are captured and routed appropriately.
