This role will work closely with internal stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Actuarial, and Operations while ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and supporting strategic initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Review and approve accounting journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting analysis prepared by team members.</li><li>Develop and maintain accounting procedures and controls to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting.</li><li>Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial performance reporting for internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Support the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and other reporting requirements.</li><li>Lead balance sheet and income statement analyses, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.</li><li>Interpret and apply technical accounting guidance to support compliance with applicable accounting standards.</li><li>Partner with business leaders across Finance, Risk, Actuarial, and Operations to support decision-making and reporting requirements.</li><li>Coordinate activities related to audits, regulatory reviews, and external reporting requests.</li><li>Lead and support finance initiatives involving process improvements, systems implementations, automation, and reporting enhancements.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, strengthen controls, and increase operational efficiency.</li></ul><p><br></p>
