  • <p>In-House Corporate Commercial Paralegal - Private Mining Company (Vancouver).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About The Firm:</strong></p><p>We are supporting a mining company in their search for a Corporate/Commercial Paralegal to join their team in Vancouver.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About The Role:</strong></p><p>My client is searching for a talented Paralegal to join their in-house legal team. The successful candidate will work directly with the CEO and outside counsel, draft commercial agreements, maintain investor relations and provide executive support.</p><p><br></p><p>A background in commercial contracts, managing redlines with multiple parties and experience in the mining industry is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal looking to work directly with C-Suite, have more autonomy and ownership over their work and enjoy a better work life balance.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and draft commercial agreements including mineral property option and earn-in agreements, joint venture and shareholder agreements, royalties, purchase &amp; sale agreements and NDAs.</li><li>Run the redline process: consolidate comments from the CEO, internal and external counsel.</li><li>You will act as the day-to-day point of contact for the organization&#39;s external legal team: tracking deliverables and deadlines, relaying instructions.</li><li>You will own the contracts register: option payments, work and expenditure commitments, expiry dates and counterparty obligations.</li><li>Assist with corporate recordkeeping matters including board and committee meetings.</li><li>Proofread agreements, news releases, board materials and presentations.</li><li>Update materials for investor meetings and roadshows, maintain investor and analyst contact database and distribution lists.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
