- <p>Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join their mining organization in Vancouver, British Columbia on a Contract basis. In this mid-level role, you will support daily treasury operations, monitor cash activity across a high volume of bank accounts, and help maintain accurate records tied to foreign exchange and metal-related transactions. This position is well suited to someone with strong analytical skills, sound judgement, and experience working in a fast-paced finance environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee daily cash positioning activities, including coordinating foreign exchange purchases and arranging account transfers to keep balances aligned across numerous accounts.</p><p>• Maintain records related to metal movements and sales activity, ensuring information remains current and consistent with shipment details from operating sites.</p><p>• Examine monthly settlement calculations for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies related to processing and payment activities.</p><p>• Administer bullion tracking schedules and support invoice review for refining activity, with responsibility adjustments possible over time.</p><p>• Partner with the Accounting team to assist with transaction processing, account reconciliation, and the resolution of daily treasury-related items.</p><p>• Confirm that documentation for corporate metal sales and foreign exchange transactions is completed, signed, and delivered to banking partners without delay.</p><p>• Prepare and issue transfer instructions to refiners in order to settle metal obligations arising from spot sale transactions.</p><p>• Create offshore cash call invoices and enter treasury and transaction data into internal platforms such as Axedras.</p><p>• Respond to audit requests and other business reporting needs by gathering information and preparing supporting documentation as required.</p>

This newly created Senior Financial Analyst role will report directly to the Group Controller and play a key part in building and strengthening FP&A, improving operational visibility, and supporting leadership with timely, meaningful analysis.
