- <p>Our client is looking for a detail-oriented <strong>Bookkeeper</strong> to join their law firm in <strong>Calgary</strong>, Alberta on a Contract basis. This role will support day-to-day bookkeeping, billing, reconciliations, and administrative activities within a busy legal environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including transaction entry, financial records, and general ledger support.</p><p>• Process accounts payable for lawyers and the management company, prepare payments, and post journal entries.</p><p>• Complete bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate records.</p><p>• Prepare internal billing between the management company and individual lawyers.</p><p>• Support accounts receivable activities, including posting receipts and tracking payments.</p><p>• Process applicable source deduction remittances accurately and on time.</p><p>• Reconcile corporate registry payments and maintain supporting documentation.</p><p>• Maintain financial and billing information across Sage 50, PC Law, Soluno, and Cosmolex.</p><p>• Provide general office and administrative support as required.</p>
