THE ROLE:Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contract. This position will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, month-end activities, accounting operations, audit requirements, and business analysis. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, a hands-on approach, and the ability to deliver meaningful financial insights to support decision-making.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial variance reviews</li><li>Prepare monthly financial reports, management reporting packages, KPI analysis, and financial statements</li><li>Support capital asset accounting, including asset tracking, depreciation calculations, reconciliations, and disposals</li><li>Assist with cash management activities, banking reconciliations, cash forecasting, and financial reporting</li><li>Participate in inventory count processes and related accounting analysis</li><li>Coordinate and support year-end and external audit requirements</li><li>Perform financial analysis and provide accounting support across operational and corporate finance activities</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and provide actionable financial insights</li></ul>ABOUT YOU:You are a designated Canadian CPA with 5 to 10 years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience and a passion for delivering accurate, insightful financial information.
