  • <p>Our client is seeking a Tax Manager for a 6 month contract with the potential to become a permanent full-time position. Reporting to the VP, Tax, the key job responsibilities include the following:</p><p><br></p><p>• Manage indirect tax compliance, including US and Canadian sales taxes filings, exemption governance, and refund initiatives.</p><p>• Support the company’s worldwide research and development tax credit applications and filings, collaborate with external advisors and internal teams to ensure the accuracy and justifiability of claims.</p><p>• Oversee Canadian income tax provision and compliance.</p><p>• Manage external and regulatory audits and examinations as required, ensuring appropriate audit documentation is available.</p><p>• Collaborate with operational teams to provide practical, solution-oriented tax guidance on commercial transactions and corporate growth.</p><p>• Identify tax planning opportunities and operational improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and automation in an expanding and growing business.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
