This is a Network & Security Administrator role with a well-established IT Services company in downtown Vancouver. In this role, you’ll play an important role as part of the network administration team, and you’ll be designing and implementing networking infrastructure for several sites in both Canada, and internationally. This company works primarily with industrial companies in the mining and exploration industries. So if you have experience in heavy industrial companies, this could be a good match. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day network operations, and you will take care of design and planning for upcoming projects and initiatives. You will be encouraged to bring your ideas related to process improvements, innovation and ways to make the network infrastructure stronger and more secure. OverviewOur Edmonton-based client is seeking a highly experienced Network Architect / Cisco-Meraki SME to lead the assessment, redesign, and remediation of a complex enterprise network environment. This role requires a hands-on consultant who can quickly evaluate the current state, identify risks and technical debt, develop a practical future-state architecture, and help execute the required improvements. This is not a documentation-heavy architecture role. The successful consultant will be expected to move rapidly from discovery and design into implementation while working closely with internal technical stakeholders. We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the daily administration and operational performance of our branch in Vaughan, Ontario. This position oversees staff leadership, planning, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination while ensuring local activities remain aligned with broader corporate standards and international priorities. The successful candidate will bring strong organizational judgement, financial oversight, and the ability to manage facilities, vendors, and reporting processes in a structured environment. Responsibilities:• Direct the day-to-day operations of the Hub, providing leadership, guidance, and performance oversight for the local team.• Prepare the annual operating plan and budget forecast in partnership with finance stakeholders, and support submission for leadership review and approval.• Coordinate workforce planning, recruitment activities, onboarding, and employee documentation while ensuring compliance with employment standards and internal policies.• Manage office and laboratory space requirements, including site setup, equipment needs, and ongoing facility operations in a cost-conscious manner.• Oversee purchasing activities for operational and project-related needs, maintaining proper approvals, documentation, and separation of responsibilities throughout the procurement process.• Liaise with technology teams to arrange system access, equipment provisioning, and information security support for Hub employees and operations.• Support project start-up and delivery processes by coordinating project identifiers, confirming scope and funding details, and maintaining accurate reporting on time, effort, and costs.• Monitor external partnerships and agreements to ensure appropriate internal approvals are obtained and that contractual obligations, confidentiality terms, and reporting commitments are followed.• Track financial performance against approved budgets, assist with intercompany invoicing and cost reporting, and contribute to audit readiness when required.• Maintain regular communication with key teams across regions, including Germany, to align priorities, resolve operational dependencies, and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
